Obituary

Willie Mae Foskey, age 79, passed away Friday, October 14, 2022 in Valdosta, Georgia.

She was born in Baxley, Georgia to the late Lannis Carter and Lucille Hall. She is preceded in death by her loving Husband; Commer Roger Foskey, Brother; Virgil Carter, and Sisters; Dorothy Rowland, and Maurice Rollins.

Ms. Foskey retired from Ero’s in Hazlehurst, Georgia. During her free time, she loved spending time with family and grandchildren, she also loved cooking and watching games and shows on tv in her free time!

She is survived by her daughters; Nora Foskey of Valdosta, Georgia, and Mollie Foskey Smith of Hazlehurst, Georgia. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services for Ms. Foskey will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Union Springs Baptist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 18, 2022, from 9:30 AM until 10:45 AM at Miles Funeral Home. Rev. Manford Gilbert will be officiating.  

Pallbearers will be: Nickolas Smith, Dennis Smith Jr, Bevan Smith, Joseph H. Robertson Jr, Ben Robertson, Dakota Heath.

Family will be gathering at: 99 West Jefferson St, Hazlehurst, Georgia
