Obituary

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Thomas Devendorf, age 75, of Tallahassee, Florida, who passed away February 08, 2022.  Services will be held at 2 PM Monday, February 28, 2022 in the Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery 38 Cook Road Hazlehurst, Ga.  31539.  Rev. Chuck Morgan will officiate.

Mr. Devendorf was born February 27, 1947 in Miami, Florida.  He was the son of the late Harry E. Devendorf & Mercedes Bacelo Devendorf and was preceded in death by: Brothers: Harry H. Devendorf, Carlos Richard Devendorf & Louise Freshour.  Mr. Devendorf graduated from Miami Springs Sr. High School class of 1967.  He was a Vietnam Era Veteran.  He owned an Armed Security Service and was a certified concealed weapon instructor.  Mr. Devendorf’s hobbies were: Teaching gun security classes & firearms.

Survivors include: Wife: Pamela Devendorf; Daughters: Tanya Devendorf & Kelly Hendrix; Sister: Connie Maddox; His furbabies: Precious, Nana & Freddy; Several grandchildren, nieces & nephews also survive.
