Susan Hendricks Obituary

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the memorial service for Mrs. Susan Margaret McConnell Hendricks, age 75, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Thursday, August 06, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 21, 1945 in Clinton, Iowa, to Edward and Hazel McConnell. She married Bryson Hendricks on December 29, 1962.

Surviving her are her sons Bryson (Amy) of St. Augustine, Florida William (Laura) of St. Augustine, Florida and Robert (Celeste) of Hazlehurst; her grandchildren Bryson, Zachary, Lillie, James, Megan, and Jimmy; 4 sisters: Maureen, Trish, Mary and Lori; as well as nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and husband.

Susan was dedicated to her family and her life reflected the love she had for them. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.

A private service is planned. Memorials are asked to be sent to
Alzheimer’s Foundation.
