Obituary

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Richard Devendorf, age 52, who passed away Monday, October 19, 2022, in Statesboro, Georgia

Mr. Devendorf was born in Hialeah, Florida. He was the son of the late Richard and Melody Devendorf.

Ricky was of the Baptist faith. He lived most of his life in Hazlehurst, Georgia. He was a devoted family man. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed raising chickens. He enjoyed the companionship of his chihuahua Angel, and the time he spent woodworking.

Survivors include a son: Hunter Etheridge Lee Devendorf of Statesboro, Ga; daughter: Haley Re’Ann Devendorf of Statesboro, Georgia; ex-wife: Debbie Smith; brother: Tony Michael Devendorf.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 24, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery. Rev. Chuck Morgan will officiate.
