Mildred (Sharpe) Brue

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Mrs. Mildred Sharpe Brue, age 82, of Warner Robins, Ga., who passed away Friday, March 25, 2022. 

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 29, 2022 at Miles Funeral Home 242 Uvalda Highway Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539. Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 31 Plum Street Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539

President Jim Martin will officiate with burial in the Fishing Creek Cemetery in Lumber City, Georgia.

Mrs. Brue was born December 30, 1939 in Millen, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Lois Mathis & Henry Grady Sharpe. On November 24, 1960 she married Dan Roger Brue.  During most of their married years they lived in Lumber City, Ga. as well as Bainbridge, Ga.  She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Dan Roger Brue, Daughter: Sherri Brue; Grandson: Thomas West, and four Brothers: Moroni, Charles, Cecil, and Billy Sharpe.

Survivors include: Daughter: Lisa Brue of Bainbridge, Ga.; Sons & Daughter-in-law: Dan Brue II (Dana) of Thomaston, Ga., Jeffery Brue (Sherryll) of Morven, Ga., Bobby Brue (Tina) of Hazlehurst, Ga., Eric Brue (Brandi) of Warner Robins, Ga, and Jason Brue of Warner Robins, Ga.; Twenty-three grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; three sisters: Laura Pritchett, Margie Williams, and Melba Golden of Bainbridge, Ga.
