Henry Bailey Rowell

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Mr. Henry Bailey Rowell, age 91, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020.  Services will be held at 2 PM Thursday, January 30, 2020 in the Bible Baptist Church 37 Bell Street Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.   

Rev.  Manford Gilbert will officiate with burial in the Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Rowell was born in Blackshear, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Jessie Rowell & Gertrude Hodge Rowell and was preceded in death by a son: Vance Henry Rowell; a sister: Viola Rowell and three brothers: Linton Rowell, Harvey Rowell & Ira Rowell.  Mr. Rowell was a veteran of the United States Army and was a retired marine diesel mechanic.  Mr. Rowell was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Hazlehurst.

Survivors include: Brother: Albert Rowell of Hazlehurst; several nieces & nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Thursday 12:30 PM-2:00 PM at Bible Baptist Church 37 Bell Street Highway Hazlehurst, Georgia  31539.
