Floyd Milton Ricketson, Jr.

Floyd Milton Ricketson, Jr. (Mickey), age 59, of Hazlehurst Ga. passed away Sunday, February 14, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Ga.

Mickey was born December 29, 1961. He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Ricketson Sr. and his mother, Betty Sue Stankowitz Ricketson, son, Steven Ricketson, maternal grandparents, Troy and Bea Stankowitz, paternal grandparents, Joseph Jackson Ricketson and Mamie Holton Ricketson, and a sister, Lisa Ricketson Alvarado.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Smith Ricketson; two sons, Brandon Floyd Ricketson (Christina), and Richard Harris Ricketson; two step-daughters, Stephanie Miller and Adrianna Miller; grandchildren, Xander Ramus, David Ethan Ricketson, Emarie Kay Ricketson, Jaxon Levi Ricketson, and  Joshua Lee Charleton; he is also survived by a niece and nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 2:00pm at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, 234 Yankee Paradise Road, Hazlehurst, with Pastor John Nunes officiating.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the Ricketson family and Miles Funeral Home respectfully ask all in attendance to wear a mask and follow the social distancing set by our local health district and the CDC.
