Annie Carter Obituary

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the death of Annie L. Carter, age 85, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Monday, March 11, 2019.

Mrs. Carter was born in Chauncey, Georgia but had lived in Hazlehurst for a number of years. She was the daughter of the late Gertrude Vaughan and the wife of the late Carroll Roland.

Survivors include: Sons and Daughters-in-law: James & Darlene Girlie, Samuel & Lain Dixon of Hazlehurst, Robert Girlie of Mississippi & Roy Girlie of Molino, Fla.; Daughters: Virginia Roberts of Hazlehurst, Sylvia Grim & Tina Tippins both of Molino, Florida; Step-son: Scott Roland of Eastman; Grandchild: Lora Wilcox of Hazlehurst; 19 grandchildren; Several great-grandchildren; Several great-great-grandchildren; Several nieces & nephews also survive.
