Andy Darley

Funeral services for Mr. Andrew “Andy” Talmadge Darley, age 63, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Shelton’s Chapel, 239 Shelton Chapel Road, Lumber City, with burial to follow at Fishing Creek Cemetery. Rev. Robert Wigley and Rev. Eric Sizemore will officiate.

Mr. Darley was born April 23, 1956 in Bradenton, Florida; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Talmadge P. Darley and Loretta Ann Johnson Darley. He was formerly employed with Oconee Cable Company and was a member of Rochelle United Methodist Church and was an avid outdoor enthusiast. Among the things he loved doing was hunting, fishing, playing golf and in his earlier years playing softball. Mr. Darley passed away early Saturday morning November 30, 2019.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria Darley of Rochelle, his son, Mitch Darley of Warwick, two granddaughters, Laken Darley and Savannah Darley, four brothers, Perry Darley of Monroe, Terry Darley of Hazlehurst, Tony Darley of Hazlehurst and Stevie Darley of Hazlehurst, a sister, Kathy Darley of Hazlehurst and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 until funeral hour at the church.

Pallbearers will, Mitch Darley, Perry Darley, Terry Darley, Tony Darley, Stevie Darley and Chris Varnadoe.
