RONALD GRIFFIN

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the graveside service for Ronald Griffin, age 69, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018.  Services will be held at 3 PM Thursday in the Palms Memorial Garden Cemetery on the Lumber City Highway with Rev. Jinker Horton officiating.

Mr. Griffin was born in Appling County.  He was the son of the late Fulton Griffin & Linnie Mae Simmons Griffin and the husband of the late Margaret Virginia Chavis Griffin.  Mr. Griffin worked for Williams Brothers Trucking for 37 years.

Survivors include: Daughter & Fiance: Heather Griffin & James Ogilvie of Hazlehurst; Daughters & Sons-in-law: Joy & Jerry Waters of Waycross, Beth Greenwood of Richmond, Indiana; Sons & Daughter-in-law: Steven & Sherri Griffin of McRae, Randy & Pam Oldham of Hazlehurst; Sister: Sylvia Selph of Hazlehurst; Brother: Wendell Griffin of Soperton; 19 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews also survive.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at Miles Funeral Home 242 Uvalda Highway Hazlehurst, Georgia  31539.
