Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Mr. Robert Futch Smith, age 89, of Hazlehurst, who passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. Services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in Elizabeth Baptist Church 51 Elizabeth Church Road Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
Rev. Keith Yawn will officiate with burial in the Bridgeford Church of God Cemetery 310 Ira Graham Road Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.
Mr. Smith was born in Homerville, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Peter Smith & Susan Belle Register Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife: Verda Edith Sanders Smith.
Survivors include: Son: Robert David Smith of Yuma, Arizona; Daughter: Charlotte Giles of Stone Mountain; 4 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; Sister: Sally White of Moultrie; several nieces & Nephews also survive.
