REV. GRADY SELPH

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Rev. Grady Selph, age 85, of Brooklet formerly of Hazlehurst, who passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019.  Services will be held at 2 PM Friday, January 18, 2019 in North Gate Baptist Church 3 Pecan Drive Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.   

Rev. Kenneth Harrellson will officiate with burial in the Hazlehurst City Cemetery in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Rev. Selph was born in Milan, Georgia. He was the son of the late Freeman Selph & Della Maude McDonald Selph and was preceded in death by his wife: Betty Rentz Selph.  Rev. Selph was a retired sheet metalist for Delta, co-owner of C & S Lawncare and was a former pastor of Denton Baptist Church in Denton, Georgia & North Gate Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, Georgia.  He was a member of the Blitchton First Baptist Church in Blitchton.

Survivors include:  Children: Randy Selph of Augusta, Debbie & Charlie Hodges of Lyons, Cindy & Glenn Hart of Bloomingdale, Elizabeth Dadin (Cleveland Burkhalter), Sharon & Douglas Currie, Tony & Sara Crosby all of Savannah; Sister: Shirley Wood of Hazlehurst; 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephew also survive.

Visitation will be 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2019 at North Gate Baptist Church 3 Pecan Drive Hazlehurst, Georgia 31539.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ogeechee Area Hopsice  200 Donehoo Street Statesboro, Georgia  30458.
