IRENE (CROSBY) WALKER

Miles Funeral Home in Hazlehurst announces the funeral service for Mrs. Velma Irene Crosby Walker, age 91, of Baxley, formerly of McRae, who passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018.  Services will be held at 5 PM Friday, August 17, 2018 in Eureka Baptist Church.   

Rev. Charles Carter will officiate with burial in the Riverside Cemetery near Lumber City.

Mrs. Walker was born in Jeff Davis County.  She was the daughter of the late Dewey Crosby & Clifford Sellers Crosby and was the wife of the late Sanders B. Walker, Jr.  Mrs. Walker was a homemaker.

Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm at Miles Funeral Home 242 Uvalda Highway Hazlehurst, Georgia  31539.

Mrs. Walker will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
